Waterplan
The project was developed to address the consequences of climate change.
The vision is based on a green-blue framework that identifies five “water structures” within the city and proposes solutions for renaturation and sustainable water management.
To test the plan’s ideas, three case studies were developed, including the Stuivenberg district, where local rainwater management was explored through urban greenery, temporarily floodable squares, and the recovery of historic watercourses.
