enghaveparken, tredj natuur + COWI, Copenhagen (Denmark), 2015-2016
Enghaveparken, a 35,000 square meter green space, serves as a rainwater collection basin for the entire Vesterbro district catchment area during heavy rainfall. This has been achieved without losing its historic character and multifunctionality.
The Enghaveparken redevelopment project in Copenhagen has transformed the historic park into a stormwater management basin, integrating solutions to address extreme weather events and promoting sustainability and biodiversity.
